Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raer grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raer. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second daughter.
