History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man likes to wear ponchos typically of a light red in addition to tight pants. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His white hair is knotted and matted. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Himo was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Himo's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Fortune-teller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Theriatis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.
