History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Arannis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Arannis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Arannis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
