History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arannis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Berrian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Berrian. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
