When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his father's many stories. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and wants to open a new tavern

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
