History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Through the years after Rolen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rolen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
