History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Efferil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Paelias learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
