History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
