History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Rolen's homeland. Rolen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.
