History: Eiravel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. A true patriot, Paelias would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Paelias was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
