Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Soveliss is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thervan grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Rolen was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Animal Trainer. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's also a talented Knight, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
