Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Halimath never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Korfel was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Quarion is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by his family
