History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Baker and was forced into it by his family; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
