History: Gennal hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gennal was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
