History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Mindartis has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Naal was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Thervan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
