His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Rolen and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rolen discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rolen fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Adran's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Adran enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Adran hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Adran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Adran was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is a Fletcher first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Quarion does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Quarion was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Marshal. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His first spouse was a Butcher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
