Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Vanuath's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

After coming to the age of reason, Vanuath took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
