History: Born to a Servant, his father struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
