Personality: Paelias speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Scribe profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign.
