History: Berrian was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Efferil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He has worked as a Dilettante like his mother before him.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
