History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Paelias has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Soveliss hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Soveliss was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Soveliss was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Soveliss decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
