Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After months of barely getting by, Heian managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Nim has worked very hard to control his curse. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
