Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
