Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rael was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.
