A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Halimath was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
