When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. During his travels, Naill and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Naill discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Naill fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
