He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Gennal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born in the east to a Mayor, Theren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mayor responsibilities is difficult.
