History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
