History: Born to a Marshal, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Korfel was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Description: 5'3" and muscular, this southern man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Fivin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Fivin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mercenary, and he later adopted a second son.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
