Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Rael was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rael grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rael. During his travels, Rael and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rael discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rael fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Dayereth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Dayereth was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bellfounder. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
