History: Beiro hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolen embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and revenge
