History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Varis was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
