Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.
