History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Aelar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Nim was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Arannis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Arannis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and regain custody of his daughter

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
