Description: An older man who wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a green coat, he is not a threatening figure. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Navigator born in the past three hundred years. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hadarai is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At a young age his father died while driving off some orcs. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in spear use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
