Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Shepherd profession.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
