Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Efferil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
