History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Efferil learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Fortune-teller mother left him crippled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult

Adran liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
