History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
