History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Aust alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
