He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and further expansion of business

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
