History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Beiro was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Beiro's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Beiro never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
