History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Uthemar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born in a small island village. Through the years after Carrie was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Carrie's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Enialis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
