Personality: Berrian hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Berrian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Berrian was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Recently the stress of being a Barber has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Performer born in the past three hundred years. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
