When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Theriatis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel.
