History: Riardon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Traki does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Traki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Traki was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Traki's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Traki and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Carrie hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Carrie began to lead the lost caravan. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Thamior alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and to find somewhere to settle down
