History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
