His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Varis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He became a Stableman soon after.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Enialis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands
