History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Carrie is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Carrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a brown shirt, with a violet mid length shorts with violet tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, marred by sweets. He has shaved his head bald. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has blonde hair. He has violet eyes and a white hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Arannis was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Arannis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
