History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahvain grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
